Please remove the transparent clip from the remote;
Check that the 4-pin connector arrow is aimed at the positive of lights;
Every roll lights have one connector to link with the controller box, they should be attached in parallel, not in series. Because: if two rolls of light strips connect together, the second roll will be dimmer than the first roll due to is far away from power.

Stronger adhesive
